Wedding Photobombing
The other day I went for a walk at a nearby park. I felt the sun accompanied with an autumn breeze touching my skin as I walked through leafy grounds. It was one of those perfect days to take a stroll at the park.
When I arrived to a bridge, there was a wedding party taking pictures. One of the groomsmen asked me to photobomb the bride and groom. So I did.
I failed. I didn’t jump high enough and the groom was too tall.
The bride and groom liked the idea of a random photobomber being in one of their wedding pictures. They asked me if I could do it again. So I did.
I succeeded. This time I managed to jump right in between the couple.

I AM TYRANNOSAURUS. Taken by Sean Mollin.
The funny thing is that I’ll forever be in someone’s picture and probably in their wedding album. The married couple will tell stories about the failure of a photobomber who needed their encouragement to succeed. Or maybe they will leave the failure part out. Who knows.
Every picture encourages us to tell a story – with truth, half-truths or embellishment. The picture doesn’t care what story you tell, it just wants it to be an interesting one.
