Track your progress

Keeping track of progress is important. It helps with having an honest perspective about yourself, goals, and/or projects. You can easily see what needs improvement and what areas are solid.

There’s plenty you can do with that information too, like getting creative with how you plan to tackle areas of improvement or learning what worked for solid areas.

The data won’t magically appear though. You’ll need to cook up a system on how to track your progress.

My only advice is to write it down somewhere (this sentence is for those who feel they can “mentally” track progress – it won’t work unless you’re Kim Peek or have Hyperthymesia).
